From Tadpoles to Sharks: Plunge into child development Meeting Friday March 1, 2013

Hello wonderful moms!

I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy during the snow. We had a great time Friday at our MOPS and POPS event. We have some very athletic and coordinated couples! (My husband and I definitely not included.)
This week, we are plunging into deeper understanding of our children. Our speaker is Patsy Atwell, an educational consultant and professor at Regis University, who specializes in the twice-exceptional student. She has more than 30 years experience consulting with parents, educators and administrators.
Some more details:
_ MOPPETS, as always, begins at 9:15 a.m. Our meeting goes from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
_ Table 3 has breakfast.
_ Don’t forget to participate in the survey for our next Girls’ Night Out event.
_ If you signed up for a blog entry, the deadline is Friday!
See you Friday!

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a faith-based community that strives to meet the needs of moms with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings throughout the year. We meet the first and third Fridays of every month September through May.
