Courage to be Strong

As moms, I think all of us have had some very embarrassing moments in public with our children and have had to be strong as we’ve done the walk of shame.  Post your fun moment as a comment and be entered in a drawing for a fabulous prize at our December meeting!

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a faith-based community that strives to meet the needs of moms with children from birth through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet regularly to celebrate the joys of motherhood and to encourage each other through the challenges. MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings throughout the year. We meet the first and third Fridays of every month September through May.

  1. I had to leave an entire basket of groceries at the store because my little dude was behaving so terribly. They were super nice and put it in the refrigerator for me until I could come back to complete my shopping trip.

  2. I had to drag my girl out of “The Muppets Movie” at her school because she refused to stop throwing a fit when they sold out of popcorn. My little dude was crying too because he didn’t want to leave the movie. All this happened in front of a bunch of the parents of kids in her class. Plus she kept blaming me because I’m the one who got the popcorn donated and obviously didn’t get enough. Thankfully several parents offered their support and commiseration the next day.
